Dr. Fu Wang is a Senior Engineer at the Earth System Modeling and Prediction Centre, China Meteorological Administration (CMA). He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the School of Resources and Environment, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), under the supervision of the late Academician Xiaowen Li of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

His research focuses on satellite data assimilation, atmospheric remote sensing, numerical weather prediction, and machine learning applications in meteorology. More recently, he has been exploring uncertainty quantification and advanced computational methods, including quantum computing, for Earth system modeling. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in journals including IEEE TII, IEEE TGRS, ACP, GRL, and IJDE. He is an IEEE Senior Member and a World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Expert.
